This title is interesting and almost seems like an oxymoron. However, I assure you that a Leadership Mindset does not necessarily lead to success. On the contrary, a Success mindset leads to success.
What I have learned is that having the mindset of leadership is necessary for a leader, however, it’s not all that they must possess. They need a success mindset to go in tandem with leadership. If you do not know the route to success, then how can you successfully lead a team or group there? Leadership and Success is not mutually exclusive.
Let’s examine the difference, a leadership mindset refers to the beliefs and perspectives that has shaped the individual approach to leadership roles and responsibilities. Leadership mindset characterizes the qualities of and potential to be adaptable, resilient, and approach to personal and professional development and growth. Success mindset, on the other hand, refers to the mindset or belief system that drives individuals to implore structures and strategies of achievement for their definition of success.
Now that I am understanding the difference between Leadership Mindset and Success Mindset I feel more empowered in my ability to lead others to success. Success, as defined by me, is waking up every day liking myself, liking what I do, and liking how I have express what I do. It’s a life full of diverse fulfillment.
