A Libra Season Reflection
Mirrors & Magic 🪞✨
It’s Libra Season.
And when I think about Libra, I think about the mirror.
Not simply because Libra is associated with beauty, aesthetics, and Venus.
But because the mirror asks us to look.
Really look.
At ourselves.
At what we’re presenting.
At what we’re reflecting.
At what we love.
At what we avoid.
At the relationship we have with the woman looking back at us.
Every birth chart contains Libra somewhere. We aren’t just one sign, one placement, or one expression of ourselves.
So during Libra season, I like to think about the places in our lives where we’re being asked to create more balance, beauty, reciprocity, harmony, discernment, and relationship.
And the mirror becomes a powerful symbol for that work.
Because a mirror doesn’t create the reflection.
It reveals it.
That’s what makes the mirror interesting to me.
So What Is Mirror Magic?
Mirror magic isn’t simply standing in front of a mirror and saying affirmations.
It’s the intentional use of the mirror as a tool for reflection, observation, self-relationship, visualization, and transformation.
The mirror can become a place where you practice seeing yourself differently.
Not because the glass itself possesses some magical power, but because what we repeatedly choose to see, say, and practice can influence how we relate to ourselves.
You can look at yourself and immediately criticize what you see.
Or you can practice witnessing yourself without judgment.
You can use the mirror to rehearse confidence.
To speak affirmations.
To visualize the woman you’re becoming.
To adorn yourself intentionally.
To practice presence.
To ask yourself difficult questions.
The mirror can become a ritual.
And the ritual can become a relationship with yourself.
That’s the part of Libra energy that interests me most.
Because Libra isn’t simply about looking beautiful.
It’s about relationship.
And one of the longest relationships you will ever have is the one you have with yourself.
So this Libra season, I’m asking:
What are you seeing when you look at yourself?
And perhaps even more importantly:
What have you been taught to see?
Because sometimes the magic isn’t changing the reflection.
Sometimes the magic is changing the way we relate to what we’re looking at.
